I did intermediate from Islamia Science College, Karachi (1984), BSc from University of Karachi, (1988), BS (1993), MS (1997) and PhD (2002) in Mechanical Engineering from University of Utah, Salt Lake City. Joined Groen Brothers Aviation as a research scientist and assisted in design and development of a four and six passenger vertically taking off rotorcraft called the Gyroplane. In 2001 joined an aerospace firm Orbital Sciences Corporation in Arizona which builds satellites and rockets. At present managing a Mechanical Engineering Department.

Misc. Information

I joined Cantt Public School Karachi in class III. I graduated in 1982 from XD. My favorite teachers were Miss Naheed Sultana Akhtar who was my class teacher in VII, Mrs. Shakira Abbasi (late) and Mrs Well.

I have the fondest memories of Cantt Public and the time spent there. The friends I am in touch with are: Mohammad Samie, Misbah Abbasi, Tanvir Rasheed, Waseem Kureshi, Navid Rasheed, Khurram Danyal and Faisal Akhtar. I am very impressed that all of us graduates of Cantt Public are successful in our careers. It says a lot about our alma mater.

I got married in 1993 and have been blessed with three beautiful children.
