I studied in FG Public Karachi Cantt from Prep to Class 8th. I was known as Shams Abbas in school and for further reference my mother was a Biology teacher in FG College; she retired as Founder Principle FG Girls College.

After my graduation I started doing different marketing jobs but in 2006 I started my textile business; Now running Fiber2Fiber International, a textile sourcing & quality control company, with offices in Karachi, Faisalabad, Dhaka - Bangladesh, Mumbai - India, New Jersey - USA and Brisbane - Australia.

I studied French and then even taught for few years in a semi diplomatic enclave in Karachi.
