Dr. Ghouri is having over 25 years oil and gas, finance and marketing experience. He has M.S and PhD in Petroleum Economics from the world renowned Colorado School of Mines, USA completed in a record time of two years. He published over 50 papers in international journals – American Economist, Energy Policy, OPEC Review, MEES, PetroMin, Hydrocarbon, Middle East Institute (US think-tank Washington DC), etc, carried out over 30 comprehensive studies, and was invited to speak including as a keynote speaker by various international forums, like World Petroleum Council (WPC), World Energy Council (WEC), OPEC, Middle East Petroleum & Gas Conference, IPTC, International Research Center for Energy and Economic Development, GasArabia, SPE etc. Advising various investment banks, oil and gas related companies based in US and other parts of the world pertaining to oil & natural gas price outlook, natural gas and LNG market assessment, Europe security of supply related issues, and global economic outlook. Presently he is working as a Senior Economist, in Corporate Planning Department of Qatar Petroleum.

Dr. Salman Saif joined Cantt Public School in 1971 in grade 7th. He was selected to play for Cantt Public School Cricket team under the able leadership of Nasir Valika. He then himself led the cricket team for two years 1973 and 1974.
