Summary Profile

I joined the Public School in the year 1958 in class 5th and after passing my matric in the year 1964, I did my F.Sc and B.A. from Saint Patrick's college in the year 1972 and my L.L.B from Sind Muslim College.

I shifted to Swabi in the year 1972, and joined the bar at Swabi and in the year 1974 I passed my provincial public service exam judiciary and joined as a civil judge there in after I resigned in the year and practiced at the lower court and the high court Peshawer. In the year 2003 I was selected as an international judge at the UNMIC, United Nations and I served as an international judge ar Kosovo for 3 years.

There in after in the year 2008 I contested the National Assembly seat on the ticket awarded to me by the Awami National Party from NA-13 Swabi and presently I am the Member of the National Assembly and Chairman Standing Commitee on Housing & Works.

I am the Legal Advisor of Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Science and Technology from the last 16 years.

At the same time I am running the charity School at District Swabi and it is being run on the same pattern as that of the Public School at Karachi. The Students wear the same uniform, its' really a recollection of the old memorise we had at our school.
