I was admitted in Class VI-D in 1985. Sir Syed Aminuddin Alvi was the Principal. He was a strict disciplinarian. Sir Sarfaraz Ahmed was our Class Teacher. He taught us English and Arabic. Miss Nauheed Sultana Akhtar, the famous playwright taught us Mathematics in Class VI.

The Urdu and English medium sections were separated in Class IX and I was moved to Class IX-B. Mrs Farzana Sikender was our Teacher in IX and X and she taught us Biology.

The other prominent teacher who taught us were Sir Shariful Hassan (Urdu), Sir Arshad Barelvi (Mathematics) and Mrs K Razi.

The great Mrs Khan taught us English in Class IX. Although she was very strict but I believe she was very kind at heart.

The Cantt Public School as I knew does not exist any more. I have very fond memories of my school.
